Who is it for?

Ignite+ is available to selected businesses in the Queensland innovation ecosystem and  recipients of Advance Queensland Ignite Ideas funding.

What are the grant/program objectives?

Ignite+ provides founders with access to tailored business support to expand the commercial skills they require to take their innovation to market readiness and commercialisation stage.

The purpose of the program is to help innovators accelerate growth and drive the creation of new businesses and sustainable jobs for Queenslanders.

The program supports Advance Queensland’s aims to:

  • strengthen key industries in Queensland
  • diversify the Queensland economy
  • enable Queensland businesses to compete in domestic and global markets
  • engage and/or benefit regional Queensland
  • create new Queensland jobs, now and into the future.

What does it involve?

The Ignite+ program is delivered by an external business skills education and training agency on behalf of Advance Queensland.

Ignite+ wraps a suite of tailored support services around Ignite funding recipients and selected high-growth enterprises.

What will recipients get?

Up to 60 business leaders engage in 1:1 mentoring rounds with expert advisors over an 8-month program.

They provide valuable business advice, professional development and access to a network of influential business connections.

The program offers various capability development workshops, business coaching and events around topics like accelerating commercialisation, branding and scaling up.

Ignite+ Innovation Community Events
