On 1 September 2022 a very special US Market focus event took place at The Precinct.
In partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia and Entrepreneur Futures Network, we hosted the ‘Expanding into the US: Advice from those who have’ event.
The event brought together Queensland successful company leaders, including:
- Alexander Dreiling from Clipchamp
- Bruce Grady from FloodMapp
- Melita Smith from Ceres Tag
It was an engaging and informative panel discussion where they shared their learnings from launching into America, alongside representatives from Advisory Board Centre and Trade and Investment Queensland.
The evening also featured pitches from emerging female founders celebrating their graduation from the Female Founders Empower Program.
The Empower Program is a mentoring program created in Silicon Valley to better equip female founders to fundraise and excel in the international entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Advance Queensland partnered with the United States (US) Department of State and Silicon Valley based Entrepreneur Futures Network to deliver the program.
