Cutting-Edge Tech for Reliable Vehicle to Satellite Communication

Dr Kamel Sultan, a researcher at the University of Queensland, is pioneering a project that has the potential to revolutionise vehicle-to-satellite communication. Funded by Advance Queensland through the Industry Research Fellowships, this project aims to develop a state-of-the-art reconfigurable broadband antenna system, addressing the growing need for reliable and secure data transmission across various industries.

Addressing the Demand

Dr Sultan has a passion for translating research into practical solutions and his research holds immense potential to contribute to advancements in various fields relying on real-time data transmission, including autonomous vehicles, UAVs and drones, military vehicles and civilian aviation.  Through reconfigurable antenna technology it is possible to enhance connectivity, extend operational ranges, and ensure secure communication for a wide range of applications.
