Two Queensland startups accepted into Boeing's aerospace accelerator program

Congratulations to People Tech Revolution and Conductor Software who have recently been selected for the fourth cohort of Aerospace Xelerated – Boeing’s aerospace accelerator.

Out of 150 applications from around the world, 11 software startups were selected to participate in the three-month accelerator to move the aerospace industry forward. And out of those 11 startups, there were only two Australian companies selected – both from Queensland!

Founded in 2021, People Tech Revolution is Brisbane-based, and co-designs and builds immersive, human-centred VR (virtual reality) training experiences. They are currently working on the Immersive Learning Pilot Project, a co-funded partnership between Advance Queensland and Mater Hospital.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of People Tech Revolution Simon Lowe is excited to be part of the program.

“We are honoured to be part of an accelerator program of this calibre, and very excited at the prospect of applying VR in the aerospace industry. This program gives us the opportunity to really refine our product offering and work on scaling our applications for sale nationally and internationally,” said Simon.

Conductor Software was founded in 2019 and is based in Brisbane. They have developed workforce analytics software that maximises people and performance data and gives leaders advanced insights to improve innovation, talent retention, customer experience and bottom-line performance. Conductor’s software is used by clients across a range of public, private and not-for-profit sectors in Australia, the United Kingdom and North America.

CEO of Conductor Software Karren Jensen said, “Being selected for the 2023 Aerospace Xelerated program not only recognises Conductor's capabilities as a next generation workforce analytics solution, but gives us the opportunity to work with the aerospace industry to revolutionise how leaders improve the critical human factors needed for safety, innovation, staff retention and performance.

Aerospace Xelerated offers a £100,000 investment from Boeing, an optional £100,000 investment from Tawazun Council, a curated curriculum and unrivalled access to Boeing, Tawazun and program partners, including UK Defence and Security Accelerator, GKN Aerospace and Etihad Airways.

Over three months, People Teach Revolution and Conductor Software will be working on innovative solutions that will help revolutionise the aerospace industry.
