National Cleantech Conference and Exhibition – a cleantech revolution

The National Cleantech Conference and Exhibition (NCTCE) was held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on 28-29 March 2022 to fast track the clean technology sector and accelerate action on climate change.

NCTCE brought together innovators, startups, government, researchers and investors for a two-day program highlighting the future potential of clean technology.

The conference explored not only the environmental benefits, but also the real economic value of cleantech. It also demonstrated relevant industry innovations and their benefits to commercial end-users.

NCTCE opened with an address from Queensland Chief Entrepreneur Wayne Gerard and featured a variety of engaging panel discussions and workshops, including ‘Why the time for Cleantech is Now’, ‘Opportunity and Legacy: Brisbane 2032 Climate Positive Games’ and ‘… because Mars is for Quitters’.

Advance Queensland was pleased to host three exhibition spaces at NCTCE, each showcasing the work of Queensland’s Innovation Hubs and our emerging tech sector. Advance Queensland was also proud to sponsor ten innovative cleantech companies from regional Queensland to attend the conference.

With more than 200 delegates in attendance, NCTCE provided a fantastic opportunity for Queensland innovators to connect with key players in the cleantech industry and explore a plethora of new opportunities.
