Australian Blockchain Week a success at The Precinct

In 2022, Advance Queensland and Innovation Architects teamed up to bring Australian Blockchain Week to Queensland. Over the final two days of the national gala event on 24 and 25 March, Queensland turned it on to bring founders and investors together to talk about the trends driving the sector as well as some real stories and hard truths about success and failure in the high-tech industry.

The events kicked off with a Pitch Night at The Precinct featuring 14 pitches of early-stage concepts that could impact blockchain technology and awareness. Congratulations to BTrusts.io for winning the night with their pitch about protecting and enabling the transfer of digital wealth and assets in the case of an accident.

On the second and final day, Queensland’s blockchain founders and funders came together for a jam-packed day of speakers and panels.

It was great to see The Precinct buzzing yet again with more than 300 people attending over the two days.

Advance Queensland would like to thank Blockchain Australia and Innovation Architects, as well as the Pitch Night sponsors Everledger, Crypto.com, and Telstra Ventures.
