The CQUniversity Advanced Technology and Innovation Centre (ATIC) is supported by a $2.8 million Queensland Government investment under the Advance Queensland initiative.
Located at CQUniversity’s Rockhampton North campus, the Innovation Centre forms part of CQUniversity’s broader plan to establish a world-class innovation, education and training precinct in regional Queensland.
The ATIC facility is open to industry stakeholders, researchers, schools & the broader community, providing access to advanced technologies as well as event spaces, meeting rooms, co-working spaces and amenities specifically designed to facilitate connection and collaboration.
The Centre aims to:
- Deliver research, training and education programs on virtual reality and automation technologies.
- Provide start-ups with access to innovation & commercialisation experts and mentoring.
- Deliver relevant professional development programs to industry & the wider community.
- Collaborate with school and university students to explore career pathways within the innovation ecosystem and entrepreneurial landscape.
The CQUniversity Advanced Technology and Innovation Centre is open from 8am – 5pm Monday to Friday, with co-working spaces made available until 9pm.
