There are many innovation support programs and services available for businesses from Local, State and Federal government. Business owners can become confused and overwhelmed by the number of programs available. At this event, with representatives from Brisbane City Council, Queensland Government and Australian Government, you can learn about some of the programs available that may benefit businesses seeking to grow.

Presenters 
Local - Natalie Scalisi, Small Business Liaison Manager, Brisbane Marketing, Brisbane City Council
Natalie has joined Brisbane City Council’s economic development board as a small business liaison manager. With a strong background in business development and stakeholder engagement, Natalie has worked extensively across western Sydney setting up taskforces to address challenges faced by local industry and works closely with industry and government to support economic programs and the growth of SME’s. Natalie offers practical support to small business owners, enabling them to overcome their individual challenges and helping them achieve their aspirations for growth.  
 
State - Jacki Steel, Director Engagement and Partnerships with the Queensland Department of Innovation and Tourism Industry Development.
Jacki has nearly 20 years’ experience with the Queensland government having worked across regional and business development policy and program areas. As part of her current role, Jacki engages broadly with stakeholders across all levels of government, innovators, business, researchers and investors about the $755 million Advance Queensland initiative.  
 
Federal - Jane Kearney, Assistant Business Development Manager, AusIndustry Australian Department of Innovation, Industry and Science.  
Jane has worked for the Department since 2010 in various roles within business development, stakeholder engagement, communications and program delivery. Jane assists businesses identify what government assistance is available to suit their needs or requirements with the view to assist them be more productive, innovative and globally competitive.   Jane’s role is to coordinate business development and communications activities from Noosa down to Logan, and out to Ipswich.
