Venturer Program

The Venturer Program

The Venturer Program is a wilderness expedition involving a range of activities and challenges designed to build the mental stamina and physical resilience that is a hallmark of all successful entrepreneurs.

The program is developed by The Office of the Queensland Chief Entrepreneur and Best Job in the World winner, Ben Southall, who has built a career taking entrepreneurs and corporate executives out of their comfort zones and on resilience-building travel adventures around the world.

Venturer Mission IV

Mission IV is taking place in Far north Queensland over 7 days and 6 nights, from August 27 - September 2, 2018.

Venturer Mission III

Our Adventurer in Residence, Ben Southall, Best Life Adventures took a bunch of Queensland entrepreneurs on Mission III to New Zealand's South Island - the home of adventure!

Venturer Mission II

Venturer Mission II was held from 6-12 November 2017 in the remote wilderness of the west coast of Tasmania where adventurers battled horizontal snow and storm-force winds to reach the summits both physically and intellectually!

Venturer Mission I

In July 2017, 19 Queenslanders including startup entrepreneurs, community managers and investors, signed up for the inaugural Venturer Program. Participants were taken out of their comfort zone with camping, kayaking and trekking in the Whitsundays, as well as giving back to the area through reef conservation work and helping with remote area clean-up activities in the aftermath of TC Debbie.
