Round 6 recipients for Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

Seven businesses, in partnership with four universities across Queensland, will share in a total of $325,000. The funding will enable these small and medium sized enterprises to bring a graduate into their business to work on an innovative project designed to grow their business.

Biarri Optimisation Pty Ltd The University of Queensland $50,000.00 Optimisation of an Airport Ground Staff Roster system utilising a mathematical engine to capture the needs and desires of staffs allowing flexibility in shifts to ensure a healthy work-life balance.
Ultra Coral Australia Pty Ltd James Cook University $50,000.00 Develop new varieties  of corals with features highly sought after by the marine aquarium industry through a cross breeding programs.
Agapeflows Pty Ltd James Cook University $50,000.00 Create an integrated online platform for multi-disciplinary allied health professionals to provide evidence-based digital health support and services.
Mindstar Enterprises Pty Ltd University of the Sunshine Coast $50,000.00 Develop and evaluate a conceptual framework and concierge service to better connect clients with Mindstar's evidence-based online wellbeing programs.
QLD OZTAG Group INC. University of the Sunshine Coast $28,000.00 Improve uptake of females Oztag games participants across junior, seniors and community sport teams through a series of marketing engagement strategies.
Synengco Pty Ltd Queensland University of Technology $50,000.00 Improve user experience and human computer interaction design for Synengco’s Sentinent System, a real-time monitoring and optimisation platform.
