Their innovative software platform enables carers and receivers to make the best use of digital world, helping the medical industry manage lifestyle diseases and reduce the number of people being hospitalised.

Net-HealthData CEO and Founder, Vidya Nallamad said Advance Queensland has helped them on their path of success.

“With the help of Female Founders mentoring and our Ignite Ideas Fund grant, Net-HealthData has been able to achieve critical milestones, helping us to grow in the HealthTech industry, and supporting us in identifying target markets and validating our business model,” Vidya said.

Since receiving funding in 2019, Net-HealthData have already successfully:

  • Obtained the all-important Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) approval which has helped with obtaining trials and interest from the public hospital market.
  • Released their mobile App across Android and Apple platforms, enabling the onboarding of clients easier.
  • Accessed key decision makers in the health sector through the Female Founders mentoring program.

With a passion for helping the community, Vidya said she is most proud of being able to use innovation to support and make life a little easier for those that need it.

“The most fulfilling aspect of growing Net-HealthData has been testimonials from our customers that express their gratitude for our tech solution – and our greatest achievement has been our ability to help more than 200 pregnant women with gestational diabetes have a more pleasurable pregnancy,” Vidya said.

When asked what advice Net-HealthData has for other entrepreneurs and businesses starting out on their innovation journey, Vidya had this to say.

“The one mantra that I stick to and advise other entrepreneurs has been, let people say what they want and stick to your own convictions and the world will be at your feet! If you have an idea and you believe in it, create a business, and make a difference in the community,” Vidya said.

“Advance Queensland has a wide range of support programs for entrepreneurs – be it mentoring for growth, mentoring to pitch, the Female Founders program or the Ignite Ideas grants.

“These programs help the complete range of entrepreneurs – including entrepreneurs with only an idea, to businesses that are in their growth phase. I highly recommend the AQ programs to any business and/or entrepreneurs.”
