Queensland’s QiHub is an entrepreneur-led online community that showcases and connects Queensland’s vibrant innovation and startup ecosystem.

The platform was launched in 2020, as an inclusive online community providing a place for Queensland entrepreneurs to discover, collaborate and connect in one convenient location.

Sarah Smith, Director of Startups, Scaleups and The Precinct in the Department of Tourism, Innovation and Sport, said the hub has proved a great success, attracting the interest of innovators across the globe.

“In the past 12 months, we have seen a positive uptake of the platform with more than 1400 people joining the online community and an additional 380 startups and scaleups completing a professional profile,” Sarah said.

“To date, it has also attracted more than 124,000 views, not only locally but from national and international markets.

“Almost 80 per cent of this traffic has come from Queensland, with the United States making up 10 per cent of the remaining traffic, and the final 10 per cent coming from a broad range of countries across Europe and Asia.

“This global reach is a promising outcome not only for our homegrown members but the Queensland innovation ecosystem who will benefit from having their businesses showcased on the international stage.”

Joining the QiHub is free. So, what are you waiting for? Head to the QiHub today to find out how you can become a member and start increasing your visibility and gain access to a range of opportunities, resources and networks that will help you learn, collaborate and grow.
