BIO International Convention

The annual BIO International Convention is the most important event in the calendar for Queensland’s life sciences industry.

In 2019, the BIO International Convention (BIO) was in Philadelphia, USA. The annual event connects global biotech and pharma businesses, researchers, government representatives and related organisations.

The Queensland Government has supported a Queensland mission to BIO every year since 1999, with the event attracting more than 16,000 attendees from 76 countries across the globe annually.
